- April 1970 joined Powering Insurance, London.
- January 1972, he rejoined the Libya Insurance Company as Deputy General Manager, Tripoli.
- September 1973, he was elected as Chairman of the Supreme People's Committee (Chairman of the Board of Directors) and General Director of the Libya Insurance Company, Tripoli.
- October 1978, he was appointed as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of the Mediterranean Company in London until his retirement in October 1914.
